On June 19th at 5:30pm there will be a free reception in Slider Recital Hall where you can buy tickets if you haven’t already, talk to the founders of the event, and here some of the initial history that inspired the festival.
Mark Twain Storytelling Festival
Saturday June 20th, we will have storytellers in and out of VP Henry Auditorium all day long, acting out historical characters, telling funny stories and sharing Kentucky folklore. There will be a long lunch break with the chance to get food from some great local food trucks as well as a vendor market. Not to mention short breaks between each act where you can listen to live music and grab a coffee. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
