Spring Plow Day
Homeplace on Green River is gearing up for their annual Spring Plow Day Craft and Music Festival from 8amCT to 8pmCT on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
This year's festival will include live outdoor music from Chris Anderson and Friends, Roundabout Song Circle, Redwire Bluegrass, Earl Bowman, and The Donovan Howard Trio. Admission is just $5 per person or $20 for a carload of 4 or more.
Other activities include a house & garden plant sale, pony rides from C-Bland Farms, horse & mule plow teams, an antique tractor show, bounce houses, a petting farm, the kiddie barrel train, Randy Hulsey the Tin Smith, historical demonstrations including a lard rendering demonstration from Kent Penick, a flint knapping demonstration by Ed Huffman, and Tanning and oddities with Jack Bartley and Kimberlee Hmurovic, and raffles. In addition, Rural Heritage Magazine will be filming a segment at Plow Day this year which will be aired on RFD-TV! You might just end up on International TV!
There will be over 40 vendors on hand, plus lots of Homeplace merch.

The Third Annual Student Art Show opens at 3pmCT on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Trabue Russell House. The event is also open from 3pmCT to 5pmCT on Friday April 12, 2024, and from 1pmCT to 3pmCT on Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14, 2024. Admission is free.
The historic Trabue-Russell House is located at 201 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY, and the program is funded by the Jim Blair Memorial Fund.

2023 International Marketplace
Lindsey Wilson College is thrilled to announce that this year's International Marketplace will be taking place at 11:30amCT on Monday, October 16, 2023, in the backyard of the ISA House, 206 Lindsey Wilson St., Columbia, KY!
The International Marketplace is ISP's (International Student Programs) largest event of the year! It will include food booths where visitors will be able to sample authentic cuisines from around the world, which are prepared by our very own international students! The International Marketplace allows students to showcase their culture, while also being able to interact with our community. This special event is free and open to the public, though donations are appreciated.
